Okay, Because I am Obsessed, and Have 38 Minutes Left with the Scanner

This is one of my all-time favorite pictures of my mother. I love the pride inwhich she wears her Davy Crocket T-Shirt in the summer of 1955.

It sits in a frame above my desk, and inspires the tough girl in me, who sometimes feels the most beautiful in a t-shirt and jeans.

Have a great weekend everybody.

I thought this was a picture of you!

I love your recent posts down memory lane, not dwelling on the past but celebrating it. All this nostalgia stuff is WHO we are today and it's not only wonderful but also important to remember it, for not doing so is like denying your own identity.

Mind you, having reached middle age I can see how the past can become your only ally, as the physical time ahead of you shrinks at an alarming rate! But if you look at those around us who grow old gracefully they always look ahead, using their past as a comfortable wrap providing warmth and a wealth of experience, but not allowing themselves to lose sight of the path that is still ahead, however short it may be, there is always a little stretch more to go. Do I sounds like I am approaching my 80s or what??!

Take care, Kerstin
